One of the things that in this century are not officially 'things' are old antique radios. Radios are not produced any more even though there are some models produced lately .People still have them around and listen to the radio while doing something else. It gives some good atmosphere to the space you are living or working.
Lets take a look on some very old radios just to remember what they looked like when they first got out.

This radio came out in 1959.

Here is one of the Japanese producers Toshiba. With some new design.
After a while radios got smaller and easy to take it everywhere you go. The got mobile and you could have music everywhere you go.
This one of the first Sony radio receivers that was small and had a lot of success
.In the 50's there was quite a 'war' between US, Japan and Germany for selling electronic devices. And the Japanese companies were constantly pushing for US and Europe markets for its large number of population.
Another Sony model but smaller.
Radios got smaller and smaller and the could fit in a pocket. There were still big radios at homes but also there were very popular the portable radios.

This radio is really small.
OK, lets jump a little bit to the present day and i just want to show you a small difference in the way of broadcasting live radio.
Today you can listen to radio station of various and specific music or content and all of this is possible through your Phone, PC and TV.
So this connection is possible through Internet and there are also some late models of radio receivers that connect to the Internet and play radio stations.
I would like to show some of these radios.
